Spanish American Grocery Deli was founded with a simple idea: Somerville deserved a place where Latin ingredients were easy to find and fresh food was made with pride.
What started as a small counter serving arepas and empanadas grew into a full pantry — a shop where neighbors come for the ingredients and stay for the warmth.
We source directly from importers and local producers who share our commitment to quality. If it doesn't taste authentic, we don't stock it.
Today, we're proud to serve the Somerville community — from home cooks building their first arepa to grandmothers finding the exact brand of seasoning their mothers used.
